June

6/7: Autumn loves to play mother to Olive.
6/8:Maverick was very excited to count up to 100 with Dad.
6/9: Since the kids and I would be in Seattle for Father's dad we celebrated a week early.  The kids filled out little questionnaires about Evan.  He got a kick out of it and may have shed a tear or two.

Grandpa got the same funny questionaires for Father's dad after dinner.  Autumn came to me and asked me questions, like "where does Grandpa work?".  I told her part of the fun with these things is kids are suppose to answer on their own and its ok if they aren't correct.  She just really wanted to have all the answers.  Autumn does not like when things are not "right" or at least the way she view things to be correct.
6/20: Olive loves to climb on the hearth just like her older siblings use to do too.
6/21: Evan and I spent a long weekend in Kansas City.  We drove out instead of flying.  The drive was really nice and it was rare experience where we could talk for such a long period of time without any interruptions.  We found an awesome restaurant on our way out there and I made Evan take a picture with the sign because I thought it was cute.
A friend from high school was able to help get us tickets to see Hamilton, which is the main reason we made the trek out there.

We had a good time with them and enjoyed dinner after the show.
6/26:We spent lots of days at the pool in June with swim lessons and playing.

6/27: Evan did a great job at the residency graduation this year.  We finally bought him a suit that fits.
6/27: We played at the Cahoon's house one afternoon and Olive ate an entire piece of Pizza.
6/29: More pool time

6/30:I painted Olives toes for the first time!

Cactus Believe Olive is One

Olive turned one! Her nursery is decorated in a cactus theme, so I carried that theme over to her first birthday.  I love throwing a party even if it is just for my family.

Autumn is so sweet with Olive.  She loves to carry her around and help her the best way she knows how.
Olive is standing, but not walking.  She has taken a few steps here and there though. She loves food, especially chicken, apple sauce, and dad's protein bars.  She loves drinking from mom's water bottle and gets jealous if she sees one of her siblings doing the same.

Cactus cake!
Opening gifts at our house is always a zoo. They big kids all want to "help" and crowd around the birthday person.  Grandma and Grandpa Robins gave her some books and a counting toy and warm clothes from Grandma and Grandpa Norby.

She loved the cake, but definitely needed a bath after she smashed it into her hair.  She also kept raising her arms up in the air until everyone copied her then she would put her arms down.  She repeated this over and over.  Her audience was very captive and thought she was adorable.

The birthday girl!

The kids picked out gifts to give her that they could all enjoy at the pool this summer, like a mermaid Barbie and Toy Story diving toys.  Lark gave her the baby doll which both girls love.

Olive especially liked the Amazon box one of her gifts arrived in.
