Grocery Store Thieves

I have recently gotten into "couponing" again. My sister-in-law has taught me the tricks of the trade, but until recently I have been to lazy to order a newspaper for coupons or a new ink cartidge for my computer to print coupons...Until there was a HUGE sale a Albertons and couldn't resist. After a few shopping trips I've already paid for the ink cartidge and have a large stockpile of food.
I had been telling Evan about all the deals I had been getting so one night I took him to the store with me. This is what we got:
  • 10 boxes of General Mills Cereal
  • 4 lbs. Bananas
  • 1 package Chex Mix

After I handed the clerk all my coupons. I then handed her two dimes and one penny. That's right I paid 21 Cents for all that stuff!! Evan and I gave each other a high five in the parking lot. It felt like we had robbed the place. I was reading on someone's blog the other day and stumbled upon this quote, "Nothing in life is free...unless you have a coupon." I'm totally adicted to couponing now. I get such a rush from getting so much stuff for so little!

JONAS BROTHERS Kickball Game

When we got back from Bear Lake Evan headed up to his parents place in Cheyenne, WY. A local radio station was hosting a kickball game to raise money for their Christmas charity. It was Kiss FM radio Jockeys Vs. the Jonas Brothers. Now I'm not a Jonas Brothers fan, I can even name any of their songs, but I had a fun time at the event anyways.

Before the game started

A sideways picture of Ashley and me at the game...It was so hot that day!

Roberts Family Reunion-BEAR LAKE!!

My Mom's side of the family has a family reunion every other summer. This year it was in Bear Lake, UT. We usually get matching shirts and each of my grandparents' kids and their families get a different color. This year we got yellow. We are a like under represented since both my brother's couldn't make it. (also there is grey and sand so the right side of the picture is actually two families)

The Norby's on "picture day"So you think you can dance: Family edition
Each family had 20 minutes to make up a routine to the same mix of songs which included "Stanky Leg," "Thriller," a swing song, "Cotton Eye Joe," Twist and Shout," and "Bye, Bye, Bye"
Here is the Robins getting ready to preform

Family Olympics XI
Pretty serious stuff. Events include "mom calling" contest, Relay races, "Dad Carry" contest, Gummi Bear toss, Food eatting relay, trivia and more. We honestly didn't win too many this year but at least we had matching shirts and bandanas.

THE LAKE! It rained on Saturday so we could only go to the lake one day, but it was really fun.

Grandma playing "Cowboy Golf" or "Lawn Golf." We I grow up I just know I'm going to be just like her-she's such a firecracker!
