We spent most of the summer discussing what we should dress up for, for Halloween. Then Evan told us we weren't allowed to talk about Halloween costumes until September. We finally landed on the characters from the newest Toy Story movie. Since I spent so much time and effort on the costumes I make the kids take just about a million pictures.
Violet as officer Giggle McDimples.
Maverick was very particular about his costume. He wanted everything to be perfect. He really wanted a laser and wrist communicator, he was also adamant about the purple head piece.
"To infinity and beyond"
"action" shots
Lark as "Forky". Lark is so lighthearted and fun, just like the spork named "Forky".
I showed pictures to Lark of different expressions Forky makes in the movie. She was pretty set on making sure Forky was smiling.
I had to bribe Lark to take pictures so she got to take a couple pictures of me.
Olive as Bo Peep's sheep
The weather was so nice, I got Autumn out of school a tad early and we went to the park and took more pictures.
I thought Autumn's costume was pretty spot on.
Bo Peep. (I used a Christmas candy cane lawn decoration)
Our friends Willett and Wren
It was WAY too cold and snowy so at our ward trunk-or-treat so we went door to door around the church. Olive helped me pass out candy.
Duke Caboom. There was no school on Halloween, but Evan had work and he wore his costume all day while working in the hospital. He even humored me by growing the mustache.
On actual Halloween night Lark did not want to trick or treat. So I told her she didn't have to wear her Forky costume. Instead she wore one of Autumn's old costumes and dresses as Ariel to match her best friend Dixie. Autumn even offered to let Lark wear her wig since it annoyed her anyway.
Matchy-matchy
Evan's dad is a good sport and came trick or treating with us on his birthday and even joined our family theme by being one of the alien's from Pizza Planet.
