The Fremont Troll

Another "Seattle gem" I've never seen before...or heard of in this case that we visited as a family. Some people in Fremont, a neighborhood in Seattle, decided to collaborate on a art project that would promote neighborhood pride and unity? Basically it is a huge statue under a bridge that provides a background for tourists' pictures.

  1. How have you never heard of any of these Seattle gems when I've heard of all of them. You actually lived (ish) in Seattle.

  2. Were there homeless people sleeping behind the troll when you visited? When I saw the troll you really had to watch your step, there were a lot of mysterious people in sleeping bags.
