11 months Young

Violet climbed up on the end table to grab her pacifier from the entertainment center while I was in the bathroom.  Then I heard a crash and crying.  The result was a scratch on Violet's forehead. 

 Autumn is warming up to the twins lately. She likes to play with them more, gets annoyed less by them, AND acts like a little mommy.  "NO Ma-rick!  Don't touch daddy's toys!"  Autumn decided to make Maverick, "A mighty King" aka a lion.

I caught the two girlies playing together during quiet time today.

Maverick now has 5 teeth.  He stands on his own.  He loves to beat and drum on anything.  He loves to play in the fridge and in the pots/pans cupboard.  Doesn't care for berries or eggs much, but loves yogurt, chicken, beef, rice, and hummus.  Maverick crawls on his hands and toes when he is on undesirable surfaces like grass and pavement. He wears size 3 diapers, poops less (yay), and wears 12 months clothes.  Maverick is less whiny and clingy.

Violet has 4.5 teeth, she took 1.5 steps August 2. She loves her daddy.  She is starting to babble more.  A lady a church didn't know her name and started calling her, "Super Baby"  which later turned into "Ultra Violet",  "UV" for short.  Violet LOVES to eat real food, she isn't too fond of formula these days but drinks it anyway.  She isn't so hot on the hummus, but does it anyway.

Neither kid likes to sit in the exersaucer. They know it is somewhat of a time-out (for mom).  Both twinners like to be outside.  They are both excellent dancers and love to flail their arms about to the music.  Maverick still tries to steal whatever Violet has, and she has started to defend herself...or rather grab it back.

Daily routine:  Wake up (not sure what time the twins wake up as we ignore them until 7 now that we sleep in Autumn's room)

7:00 am we feed them a bottle

7:08 am they play

7:35 breakfast - real food

8:00 nap

10:00 up from nap and bottle

10:15 we arrive late to whatever activity we are suppose to be at (they eat the entire time we are out)

1:00  I try to pick up the house while they follow each other around the house from room to room. All this while Autumn whines about something

1:30 nap

3:30 up from nap and always cranky-They then proceed to eat until...

5:00 they play for a bit usually in Autumn's room if she hasn't cleaned it up from quiet time.

5:30 bottle and diaper change

6:00 fast asleep
