The Norby family rule is no Christmas until after Thanksgiving. The kids really wore me down this year and I let them get out their Christmas Jammies a couple nights early.
And then Lark put "medicine" (Vaseline) all over her face.
After a "burn the bird" class at the gym the girls helped me with our "Thanksgiving feast". Since 1. we didn't have any family in town 2 we were leaving for Disneyland the next day and I didn't want to store any left overs and 3 my kids don't like turkey we had breakfast instead.
The candy dish Autumn made in art class!
We made name tags for our places and wrote what we are thankful for. Some of the kids and I made turkey's out of our breakfast foods.
Lark finally decided to make a turkey once her pancake was nearly gone.
Maverick made two different version of a turkey.
After our feast we went and saw Frozen 2 (or Frozen 11 as my kids liked to call it, since the roman numerals look like an 11). Olive did a really good job with her first real theater experience.
AND THEN Christmas began...
