Class of 2016

We got home from AZ and we hung up our flag.  Happy Memorial day! Have I mentioned I LOVE having a house?  Also I really love house numbers that are only 3 numbers...I don't know why, I just do.

We watched home videos of Sara's kids and so Autumn wanted to cut strawberries all by herself like her cousin Kallie.
We went to ride paddle boats one afternoon, but their was lightening in the distance so we played at the park instead.
The next day the big kids got to go on the paddle boats.

It is one of Autumn's favorite things...She LOVES it.
I love Violet's face in this picture...eating a snack before Cameron's high school graduation.

Siblings
Evan's mom bought us flowers to decorate the backyard...we've nearly killed them already.  My thumb is not green.

High School Musical...with Autumn's Pictionary chalk drawings.
Cute Couple ;)

Cameron's choir group "sang" the National Anthem and "Glorious".  It was pre-recorded so they just lip sync'd.  I had no idea until he told us afterwards.
Maverick clapping...
Graduations are so much "fun".  Actually Cameron's graduating class was pretty small, so it wasn't too bad.

Future graduates

The after party.  We had dinner and a show after the graduation at our house.  Linda did a great job with all the food and decorations...and clean up.  I didn't have to do anything but show up.

Sara's specialty Creme Brulee
Trying to start the fire for S'mores...I had to step in and help.
Autumn and Charlie's "So excited for the fire" faces
Meagan got a PlayStation 4 for Cameron for graduation.  He was very excited but nervous for his mother's reaction.
Private concert

The next morning we went swimming at the hotel where Evan's grandma was staying.

Maverick got in the water but preferred to play with the measuring cups by the side of the pool

More Arizona

My sweet 11 year old nephew Wade passed away May 19th.  It still doesn't feel real.  I feel very fortunate that we could all make the trek to Arizona for his funeral and to be with family.

Lark went to church for the first time (5 weeks old)
Her eyes are starting to get lighter..and her newborn clothes are getting snug.
Lark hanging out with Aunt Sara.
Evan works with a doctor that own a second home in Gold Canyon, AZ.  He was gracious enough to let us all stay there.  I can't imagine staying in a hotel with 4 kids!
Violet loves aunt Sara.  On the road trip back to Cheyenne she cried until Sara drove with us.
We went and got our nails done before the funeral.
 Autumn waited oh so patiently...

We went to a BBQ at Evan's cousin Eric's house in Gilbert

 Post funeral luncheon
Violet kept eating off Elizabeth's plate.  Apparently she likes pinto beans.

Charlie and Autumn thought is was very funny to make their lips green from the cupcake frosting.

I look at this picture of the whole family and can't help but think someone is missing....
Wade liked to take silly pictures so we stuck our tongues out in his honor...Evan's cousins/aunts/Grandma
Four generations..
Evan was a pallbearer...hence the green ties.  Green was Wade's favorite color.
After the funeral Evan flew back to Wyoming for his call shift.  I stayed a few extra days with the kids.  We swam in the pool and went to a splash park.  On the long trek home we stopped in New Mexico at Meagan's house.  The twins loved the dog...from a distance.

 Autumn loves Lexi's Barbies.

Arizona

It took us 2 days to get to Arizona with 4 little kids, but we had such a good time with family, sun, and our daily trip to the pool!

Lark only wore her swim suit the first day...to show off....but did you notice how all their swim suits coordinate???
(That is sunscreen all over Violet's face)
She took to the water like a fish.  She totally loved it!  She could swim all by herself with her floaties on. She would just kick her little legs to get herself from one end of the pool to the other.  She even liked it when Evan would toss her in the air, she'd land under water then pop up with a smile on her face.

Maverick was more timid of the water and absolutely petrified after Autumn jumped in while holding him.   It was kinda nice though since he just liked to walk around the outside of the pool.  One less kid to watch....The very last day we were there he ended up getting in the water.  He ended up really liking it.
Autumn loved the pool as well.  She liked having Evan launch her in the air and having aunt Sara help her dive for things at the bottom of the pool.  Grandma even taught her how to really dive into the pool and do a flip.
...and of course Violet loves her accessories.

No words needed

I was packing for our trip to Arizona and Evan was "watching" the twins...

I ended up throwing her shirt in the trash.
