CHRISTMAS

Evan and I slept out on the couch so we could capture Autumn when she first woke up Christmas morning.

Stockings...Autumn got to hunt around for Maverick and Violet's as well.

Violet was still sleeping.  After the babies ate and Maverick pooped on his matchy-matchy jammies we went to Evan's parents place to open gifts.

Checking out the very white Christmas...it snowed all day long.

Decorating sugar cookies with Grandma Linda

Autumn's real birthday.  She got to open up presents in the morning...but to be honest it took some convincing for her to open them up.  She wanted to build a "dort" aka fort with uncle Patrick.

The only thing worse than sitting on Santa's lap...sitting on Autumn's lap!

More December

Autumn learned the hard way that you need to add flour slowly while making cookies.
Acting out the nativity with some friends.  Autumn was Mary and since Maverick was asleep violet got to be baby Jesus.

Can my kids get any cuter?

When the twins were 4 days old we had "newborn" pictures taken.  The photographer had never taken "twin" pictures so most of the shots are of them together.  I hardly got any of them separate, which was disappointing.

I love this one of Evan and his babies.  The pictures of me and the kiddos turned out awful.  I mean, I understand that I would look puffy, but I also looked like someone hit me in the face!  At least one of us was having a good face day.

When I went home for Thanksgiving my cousin's wife took these beautiful pictures for me.  Seriously how did I get so lucky to have McKenzie in my life?  She is not only a talented photographer, but a talented thrifter.  She sent me home with a suit case full of stuff for the babes.

I love the Kenzie captured Autumn's typical face she makes when I tell her to smile.
