My mom came to visit for a week while Evan was out of town for some sort of conference. Since he got promoted in March Evan has done a lot more traveling than either of us expected he would. So one day while my mom was visiting I had Autumn skip school (which she was NOT pleased about) and we went to Fort Collins for a re-do on the pumpkin patch. It was actually abnormally warm and enjoyable. We also went to JCPenny and got the kids' pictures taken. My mom also kept my house clean all week and make several freezer meals for me while I napped.

My grandkids are just too adorable for words. What do all the other grandparents with relatively ugly grandchildren do? I feel bad for them.
