Sunday after we blessed Lark in church we had a family birthday party for Maverick and Violet. The theme was 2X2 as in 2 kids turning 2...So it was a Noah's ark theme. Clever right?
Here is my dad and his dad putting together the twinner's balance bikes
Violet promptly sat on grandma Dorothy's lap during the blessing on the food. It was too cute I couldn't help but snap a photo.
Violet fell in love with Jake at our family reunion.
So of Evan's family was still in town yay!
More family and you can kinda see the rainbow decorations.
My mom did a great job of feeding the masses. Chicken cordon bleu casserole and RAINBOW jello.
This is the best picture we got of the birthday kiddos...
This was probably my favorite part of the party...This awesome animal cups I found on Amazon.
The twinners love their balance bikes...although they are too short to ride them so they just push them and walk beside them with their helmet on their heads.
We decorated Noah's Ark...
And drew pictures of Aunt Deb...The other birthday girl...with rainbow crayons
My uncle Dan made the cake...The animals are walking up to the ark ;)

Mav and Violet blowing out the candles
My second favorite thing about the party...the animal plates (which most people complained about, since they were small...but I thought their cuteness made up for their size).
There was only a little bit of cake left over so my mom let the guest of honor have at it...and it didn't even make that big of a mess.
After the party the kids opened up their gift from g&g Robins and from Lark (Autumn picked out the helmets for them).
