Since my sister-in-law's ex-husband planned my nephew's funeral, we wanted to have a service to honor him in the way we remembered him. It was held at Evan' grandma's house where lots of family events have taken place, a few grand kids' weddings, grandpa's 80th birthday party, etc. It was a casual event with lots of family and nice weather.

Getting things set up...
the famous "bridge" (and autumn carrying around her phone book, aka "homework". Who would have thought that phone book would bring so much entertainment.)
David was the MC...You can kinda see the neat picture frames Cameron made out of Lego. A cousin, Josh, also made some "W" centerpieces which were really neat. But they arrived late because there was a fire which delayed several family members for a few hours.
We used the same table squares that were used at my wedding and also used at Wade's baptism.
The butterfly is the symbol of AVM (which is what my nephew had) so my mother-in-law arranged a butterfly release. It was pretty neat!
I love this picture. It actually breaks my heart a bit. I think of my four year old self and how hard it would be to lose a sibling.

After a very long day we headed back to my grandparent's house and Lark got to meet uncle Noah.
I love the "getting things set up" picture because we actually do look like we're talking about even though it was already done when I got there =P
