After leaving Heather's in North Carolina we headed to Florida to spend time with Evan's younger brother Patrick. We stayed at a place in St. Augustine, Florida the first night and gave everyone lice treatments. Apparently we all got it from Heather's neighbor. (Best place to take care of lice...a hotel...then you don't have to do all the laundry ;)
We met Patrick and Elizabeth and went to a fort.

Then we walked around downtown. We joked that it kinda felt like main street at Disneyland.
Then we went across the state to Gainesville where Patrick lives. He gave us a great tour of the University of Florida. Since it was close to graduation we were even allowed to walk around on the football field.

Then we went to a cool museum on campus.
The next day we went to a pool near Patrick's house. And since it was still early in the season we pretty much had the pool to ourselves.
We made good use of all the beach toys the twins got for Easter.
Autumn loved all of Elizabeth's magnets. She uses all the magnets when she does presentations at elementary schools.

After hanging out in Gainesville we headed back to the East side of Florida to Daytona Beach/Port Orange where Evan grew up. We took the kids to the beach and they loved it. The water was warm and mild.
After the beach we randomly went around to Evan's friend's house unannounced. Evan loved it.
