Another Midwestern friend a year ahead of Evan also lives in the Detroit area and they invited us over for a good old fashion BBQ. We ate food, we did s'mores and then lit fireworks. It stays light outside until almost ten so the firework show was a little bright and it started to rain, alas the show went on.
