For Autumn's 1/2 birthday we took one of her friends to the Denver Children's museum. She was disappointed that this was not a friend party year (most of her friends have friend parties every year), but was mostly appeased with a friend adventure and family party.
The zip line is the kids' favorite activity...Closely followed by the art room.
Giant picnic basket with a baby in it, hehe.
The next day was truly Autumn's 1/2 birthday;)Evan had to work but lucky for us Cheyenne was hosting its "Super Day".
We rode a train...
Met "Moana" and "Ariel"
We waited way too long in line for this bubble activity, but it was totally worth it. Autumn did a great job of "standing" in the bubble, even better than the older kids next to her.
Another ride only Autumn was tall enough to do-peddle bikes.
Checking out some cars...
Autumn getting a face tattoo from the biker gang. The lady who helped apply the tattoo was even surprised that Autumn wanted the tattoo on her face.
After dad got home from work we had dinner (which I don't remember making so maybe it was cereal? or hot dogs?) We made s'mores on our fire pit, played pin the wand on Elena, ate cake and opened presents. Autumn's big present from mom and dad was play tickets to see Frozen in Denver in September
. About a week before her "birthday" we went to Target to pick out a cake topper. She asked for a Moana party for a few weeks, but at the last minute she picked the Elena of Avalor toy to put on her cake. Not sure what changed her mind since we don't have cable so she doesn't even watch that show.
Grandma Pattie made Autumn and her doll matching outfits.
Autumn is a working on being a good leader. She is very creative and loves to make up games for her siblings to play. She loves to make airplanes with all our folding chairs. She likes us to read her chapter books at night, especially the "Magic Tree House" series and "Nancy Clancy". She loves the movie and music from "Trolls" as well as "Moana". Autumn loves to dance and draw.
